About this Recipe
Most of us love bread, and most of us love beer. Why would we not combine the two into this awesome braai side? Enter the beer bread.
- 500g self-raising flour
- 340ml (1 can) alcoholic or non-alcoholic beer of choice
Step by Step Instructions
Combined flour, salt and beer into a firm dough
Grease flat-bottomed potjie place ball of dough in pot and sprinkle with a little flour
Bake over coals on a braai for about 45 minutes until golden brown
(If do not have self raising flour 20 ml Crème of tartar and 10ml bicarbonate of soda or 2 heaped teaspoons 30g baking powder)
