Everyone loves a sweet no-bake treat, and these Fridge Date Treats are no different. They’re incredibly easy to whip up, with no oven needed, just a quick mix, chill, and they’re ready to slice.
Ingredients
- 250g Butter (250ml)
- 200g Sugar (250ml)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 packet Marie Biscuits (Broken into Small Pieces)
- Coconut
- 150g Cherries (250ml)
- 1 packet dates (pitted and chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- Pinch Salt
Step by Step Instructions
Melt butter and sugar, remove from heat and add beaten eggs, return to heat mixing well until boiled.
Add dates and cherries, cook until thickened.
Add Marie biscuits, mix well.
Press into a greased baking tray and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
Cut into squares and roll in coconut.
Keep refrigerated.
