We truly believe that it’s never too cold to drop a piece of meat onto the braai. Why not try this peri-peri chicken? It’ll warm you right back up.

Jono’s Peri Peri Chicken
Parsley, Bayleef, Thyme for boeuf bourguigon


  • 1 chicken cut into portions
  • 50g paprika (half a spice bottle)
  • 2 tablespoon dried crushed chili
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (¾ cup if using bottled)
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 ½ t grated fresh ginger
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt

Step by Step Instructions

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and add chicken and coat all pieces , or put in zip lock and shake to mix

Marinate for at least 1 hour

Grill on medium heat on grill or braai for +- 30 min until cooked and skin is slightly charred and crispy
