This crisp onion bread is perfect for a South African braai – dip it into our famous braai sauce or use it to make a steak sandwich.

Onion Bread
Parsley, Bayleef, Thyme for boeuf bourguigon


  • 500g self-raising flour
  • 500mls Amasi milk
  • 1 packet white onion soup
  • Grated cheese (handful)
  • Sliced Onion

Step by Step Instructions

Mix flour, soup powder and Amasi milk until combined into a sticky dough

Put into a loaf tin

Sprinkle cheese and sliced onion on top

Bake at 180º for 1 hour
