This simple mustard and rosemary marinade is a classic at our braais and is a great way to add lots of flavour to an already juicy steak.
Ingredients
- Two teaspoons of german mustard
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
- Fresh black pepper
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- Teaspoon of honey
- Two sprigs of rosemary
Step by Step Instructions
Pour the olive oil into a tray along with the salt and pepper. Use a generous amount of pepper and salt to your taste.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until it’s well mixed.
Rub the steak into the marinade until it’s completely covered. Make sure to marinade the sides as well.
Let the steak sit at room temperature for at least an hour. Cook evenly and caramelise the marinade to your heart’s content.
